Workplace Training
Refresh Café offers workplace training and placement to individuals that wish to gain skills in hospitality. The clients engage in a working Café environment which provides practical training in food preparation, cooking skills and customer service.
Clients also learn about teamwork, hygiene and health, occupational health and safety, nutrition and communication skills all of which can enhance their basic life skills.

Work placement is a 40 hour program which enables the client to participate and experience the many different aspects of a Café operation.
On completion of the work placement the client will be awarded a Certificate of Participation and Statement of Attainment. Many of these clients go on to gain employment in the local area.
