Transition to Work (TTW)
Who is eligible?
To be eligible for the Transition to Work a person must meet the following crieteria and must generally be:
- a school leaver in Year 12
- a person with a disability with moderate to high support needs who has the capacity to work as assessed through the process determined by the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC)
- a permanent resident of NSW
- a person who wishes to participate in a program that will support his or her future work or study goals; and
- not undertaking paid employment of more than 8 hours per week, full time vocational education or higher education
In addition, in some circumstances a person may be accepted into the Program under the Early or Late Entry Arrangements.
