How do I view my paystub or W-2?
You can retrieve either of these by logging into our employee portal 24 hours a day.
How long does it take to find a job through Essential Personnel?
The time required to find a job through Essential Personnel can vary depending on your skills, experience, and the job market. We have a large pool of job opportunities, which can help you find work more quickly.
How long will I need to be in your office to apply?
The time you spend with us will depend on your preparation. If you have already completed our application online or if you have a list of your past employers, your time with us should not be more than 30 minutes.
How soon can I start working?
Job availability changes every day. Once our application process is complete, you will be considered based on your preferences and skills and offered appropriate positions.
How can I get started with Essential Personnel?
Visit our career page to view our current jobs and apply. We’ll ask you to provide information about your work history, skills, and employment preferences. We’ll do reference checks with previous employers and other references you provide. Once reference information is complete, you will be offered jobs based on all the factors of your interview process.
I have completed the application online – what's next?
Your resume will be reviewed by a recruiter specializing in your specific skill set and added to the Essential Personnel database to be matched to the closest fitting positions. If there are no suitable jobs, an Essential Personnel recruiter will contact you when one arises. A recruiter will contact you periodically to check on your job search progress.

What should I bring to my appointment?
You should bring a resume, a list of references, and any relevant certifications or licenses you may have. You may also be asked to provide identification and proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
How often should I contact your office after an interview?
Checking in with us every week is best. That way, you’ll always know where you stand, and we will know your availability.
What if I am not interested in a position I'm offered? Is it all right to turn it down?
Of course! Not every job will meet your expectations. You are free to decline if you are not interested in a position. We will continue to offer positions to you based on your skills and preferences.
What if I do not like the job assignment that I was hired to do?
No problem, Contact your employment consultant and they can work with you to find a better fit position.
What is a temporary-to-hire job?
Temporary-to-hire gives you and the employer the chance to make sure you’re a match before making a long-term commitment. At the end of the introductory period, if the client wants you to continue working for their company, they may offer you a full-time job. If you are interested, you can accept and become a full-time employee of our client – that’s a win-win situation for everyone!
